(Physician/MD qualifications required) Critical Care Medicine – Intensivist Position Near Boston MA| Providence, RI
Seeking a BC|BE Critical Care specialist for an Intensivist position not far from Boston and Providence, RI. to rotate coverage with our five pulmonary physicians. We envision a 7-on|7-off schedule, with in-hospital duties from 7am – 7pm. The alternate (7-off) weeks would be covered by the other physicians in the group. The overnight shift is generally covered by a remote eICU provider and an in-house Nocturnist, with the Intensivist available only for back-up or for critical care procedures, like emergency bronchoscopy.
The successful candidate must be Fellowship-trained in Critical Care Medicine, with a previous residency in Pulmonary, Internal Medicine, or Surgery. Unlike the other Intensivists who also have active pulmonary practices, this individual would work exclusively in the hospital setting. Routine ICU skills are required intubation, ventilator management, line placement, etc.
Salary is competitive and commensurate with training and experience. Of course, moving expenses, health insurance, vacation, CME expenses, and a 401K are included. The practice is in a healthy growth phase and is a solid and strong influence in this medical community.
