Medical Director – Physician Opportunity only

(Physician/MD qualifications required) Medical Director – Medical Director needed for Treasure Coast, FL (East Coast)

Lead 6 Hospitalists at this (230 bed hospital). The Hospitalists work 7 on 7 off – 12 hour shifts.
Since the hospital has an Academic Family Medicine Program; all candidates must be Internal Medicine trained. This positon is in need for a good leader with strong communication skills.
The medical director schedule is working Monday thru Friday (8 hours per day). This is an employed position with excellent benefits and Occurrence Malpractice Insurance.
Great upper level leadership and the group has a very tight relationship with the hospital system which translates to long term stability.
Responsibilities include: Appx. 50% Admin|50% Clinical, including scheduling, overseeing doctors, communicating with support staff, etc.
Must be experienced and must be Internal Medicine Trained.
Compensation is commensurate with experience and training (They will not lose a candidate due to financial issues.).
