Medical Sales| Clinical Liaison
We are looking for a Medical Sales|Clinical Liaison to represent our location.
The Clinical Liaison (CL) is responsible for building physician referrals for an assigned office by calling on new and existing physician referral sources and managing of day to day relationships with the referring offices. Call points include Podiatry, Endocrinology, Primary Care, Cardiology and Vascular physicians, etc.
Key KPIs include lead generation and resulting patient consultations and procedures. The CL is also responsible for overall referring office physician, staff and patient satisfaction.
Develops annual business plan for territory and referral growth.
Delivers on key KPIs for assigned office including:
o New| incremental doctor referral growth (NID) and resulting procedures
o Initial doctor referral growth (ID) and resulting procedures
Establishes and maintains ongoing communication with offices including new office news and trouble-shooting patient and referral issues. Escalates issues as necessary.
Tracks processing of all ID and NID referrals to ensure proper follow up.
Responsible for the distribution of patient facing materials, referrals tools and new partner packets to referring practices. Maintains appropriate inventories of collateral.
Meets monthly to quarterly with each referring practice to answer questions, refill materials, support best practices, and ensure strong patient healthcare integration. Ensure strong practice relations as indicated by patient and physician satisfaction surveys.
Identifies new referral sources and work with appropriate resources to set up new accounts.
Documents contacts and spending by office to stay within regulatory guidelines and build ROI.
Understand and articulate the value proposition of our company and our point of differentiation vs. competitive practices.
Creates learning opportunities for top referring sources giving them direct access to latest innovations, and our local doctor in an open forum.
Working with local office staff, creates and promotes patient appreciation events to highlight our work (for patients and doctors), build community relationships and encourage good follow up patient practices.
Utilizes Sales Force to its full power as a communication and client management tool including maintaining current information on all referral contacts (current and potential) and documentation of activities
Develops and shares market expertise including potential referral source and competitive activity.
Posts on social media to support our local clinic(s) sharing office news, patient testimonials, case studies, and patient care best practices.
Facilitates community outreach. Identifies local health fairs, and consumer facing events to build office awareness, positive sentiment and referrals. Oversees execution of local events.
Travels as necessary. Local travel is key to success. Some overnight travel might be required for training or conferences.
