(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Medical Technologist – General – NEW Molecular Technologist OR Medical Laboratory Scientist Opening at an anatomic pathology & molecular pathology laboratory located outside of Gainesville, Florida! This CAP-accredited laboratory specializes in women’s health, urology, gastroenterology, dermatology, plastic surgery and podiatry. This is a permanent and full time position, working primarily Third Shift. This position will be primarily focused on molecular techniques including (but not limited to) real-time PCR, capillary electrophoresis, pyrosequencing, microarray technology and NGS.
For consideration, applicants must have his or her B.S. degree in Medical Technology (or related field) and an ASCP Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT or MLS) or Molecular (MB) Applicants must also be eligible for the Florida Generalist License or at least a Molecular License. Compensation package includes competitive salaries, outstanding benefits and the opportunity to work in an excellent work environment. Either a sign on bonus or relocation assistance might be available for the right candidate as well.
