Job Overview
(Physician/MD qualifications required) Psychiatry (General) – The organization provides services to clients in Washington, District of Columbia, and the DMV area with a comprehensive range of services for the prevention, intervention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental|emotional disorders.
The Psychiatrist will be responsible for providing medication|somatic services to clients through telemedicine.
The Psychiatrist will be responsible for providing direct therapeutic services in the form of diagnostic assessments and medication|somatic treatment for enrolled individuals.
The Psychiatrist will be clinically accountable to the Chief Medical Officer.
The Psychiatrist will coordinate psychiatric (medical) care of assigned patients
The Psychiatrist will prescribe medications for the treatment of psychological disorders.
The Psychiatrist will be responsible for maintaining client records in accordance with established policies and procedures.
The Psychiatrist will provide clinical oversight to all clinical staff, including the registered nurse.
The Psychiatrist will perform other duties as assigned within the scope of psychiatric duties.
