Community mental health center is currently looking for a Board Eligible|Certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist with an interest in outpatient psychiatry to fill an opening in northwest Indiana. Ideal candidates will hold a current unrestricted license in the state of Indiana or applied and have Board certification|eligibility in Psychiatry. Psychiatry residents and fellows are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities of the Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist (Outpatient)
100% outpatient care to children & adolescents patients.
Provide 20-30 minute medication management and 60-90 minute initial evaluations.
Call rotated between 10 psychiatrists.
Perform Evaluations and Medical Checks.
Provide Education to patients, families, and the community.
Perform other duties as required.
Requirements of the Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist (Outpatient)
Medical degree; M.D., D.O. or foreign equivalent
Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency program
Licensed for the practice of medicine in the State of Indiana OR able to obtain
Board certification|eligibility in Psychiatry
Experience with EHR is preferred

Ability to handle confidential information appropriately and set appropriate boundaries and limits with clients
Compensation for the Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist (Outpatient)
The starting annual salary for the Child & Adolescent Outpatient Psychiatrist is 240,000+, depending on experience and certification.
