We are looking for an Radiologist to use their skills and various medical imaging techniques to produce visual representations of specific areas of the human body in order to diagnose medical problems and monitor treatment.
As a radiologist, you will examine various types of images, including x-rays, computer tomography (CT) scans, ultrasounds, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans. You might operate the machinery used to collect these images, though this task is often delegated to radiology technologists. Radiologists also occasionally monitor imaging sessions run by radiologic technologists and technicians.
Patients’ doctors often consult with radiologists on results of imaging procedures. In such cases, you may be responsible for recommending courses of treatment or suggesting that additional images be taken. You may also administer nuclear medicine, or other radiation techniques to treat patients with illnesses or diseases.
You will be required to alert Physicians of any emergent findings
Responsibilities
1.Evaluating patients medical histories to ensure the various medical imaging procedures will not harm them.
2.Interpreting the results from diagnostic imaging procedures to determine diagnoses.
3.Communicating and discussing results and diagnoses with Physicians.
4.Compiling written reports of results and diagnoses.
5.Following medical protocols for resuscitation, bleeding, infection, or other emergency situations when necessary.
6.Treat all co-workers and patients with dignity and respect.
7.Proficient in general radiology techniques, including X-Ray, MRI and CT.
