There is on-the-job training available for either CT or MRI modality, but preferred for candidate to have one or the other modality in place before hire.
Job Summary:
Radiology Technologist |CT|MRI is responsible for performing radiological exams in a safe and prudent manner for the specific purpose of producing a diagnostic exam of the highest quality while creating a quality environment for the customer. Performs a full range of diagnostic radiography as required for Rad Tech and in addition performs CT|MRI examinations and associated work as a registered technologist in CT|MRI. Also, works closely the Diagnostic Imaging team and other departments in order to provide complete patient care. Overtime and call requirements for the CT position are common, and may be required to meet operational goals. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.
Certification|Licensure Requirements:
Required: X-RAY|RT
Preferred: Either MRI or CT License from the State of Oregon and ARRT registry
Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by American Heart Association (AHA).
MUST recertify prior to expiration date.
