COMPENSATION: Competitive Compensation Generous Benefits On-the-job leadership training ROLE: Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients with a variety of medical conditions. Must be able to assess, implement, and evaluate nursing care to a diverse group of patients using sound critical thinking and decisive judgement in accordance with approved policies, procedures, and protocols. Must have specific and basic knowledge in the principle, methods and techniques involved in nursing practice and the care of the acutely ill patient. Accurately and appropriately documents patient care and treatments including, but not limited to, medications, vital signs, intake and output. Develops and documents a patient specific care plan for each inpatient within 24 hours of admission. Demonstrates fiscal responsibility through appropriate charging of supplies and pharmacy items. EDUCATION: Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing Bachelors degree, preferredEXPERIENCE: A minimum of one year of acute care nursingAt least one year of RN experience in emergency room – preferredREQUIRED: Current Washington state nursing licensure Current BLS and PALS (or ENPC) certifications – requiredACLS required May have one year in which to obtain. CPR – required. TNCC certification required within 6 months of hire Ability to communicate clearly and effectively: delegate and coordinate through leadership skills. Ability to communicate with people of diverse backgrounds and educational levels; i.e. patients, families, employees, physicians, etc. Proficient in the use of current technology, including Microsoft Office products. Ability to learn and effectively use electronic medical records and other systems and equipment.
