Home Health Department Leader in need of a full-time Registered Nurse for home health!
Work Schedule is 8:30 AM -5 PM, with rotating weekends every other weekend. If working the weekend, RN would have two days off between Monday Friday. There is no on-call|call-in with this schedule.
Job Summary: Exercise intelligent leadership in the provision of nursing service necessary to support, maintain, and implement departmental objectives under the direction and supervision of the Home Health Clinical Care Coordinator and|or Leader of Home Health | Hospice. Provides, arranges for, teaches or supervises nursing care of the home health patient. Carries out nursing skills contributing to the treatment and rehabilitation. Appraises individual and family health needs and hazards – existing or potential. Plans coordinated Home Health service for assigned patients. Carries out treatment, diagnostic and|or preventive procedures, as ordered by the patient’s physician.
Requirements: Currently licensed RN in the state of Illinois by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation. A minimum of one year’s experience is preferred. Must have a valid drivers license and personal vehicle.
