This large, med surge hospital located on the Ohio River just two hours from Lexington, KY and just across the river from Huntington, WV is looking for a Medical Director in Psychiatry.
The hospital houses an 18-bed General Adult Psychiatry Unit. You will be working in a leadership role with this inpatient program.
You will work Monday-Friday with some light weekend call duties.
Your team will consist of RNs, Clinical nurses, social workers, therapists and LPNs. Your average day consists of two admissions, two discharges and one consult.
The hospital is offering a super package with a base salary of $250K plus RVU incentives. A comprehensive benefits package is also provided including $5,000 for CME and 6 weeks paid time off. Great life style, affordable living, wonderful people!

This position is specific for a Board Prepared or Board Certified Psychiatrist. Requirements then are that the successful candidate would have a degree as an M.D. or D.O. with proven residency training in Psychiatry.
