(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Psychology/Behavioral/Mental Health – The Clinical Psychologist is a member of a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians. The Clinical Psychologist provides a range of interventions and therapeutic services to consumers enrolled.
Clinical Psychologists will provide preventive, rehabilitative, and diagnostic services|interventions to clients.
The Clinical Psychologist shall be responsible for the following:
Provide psychotherapy to individuals and groups regarding problems such as stress and family situations, in order to modify behavior and|or to improve personal, social, and vocational adjustment.
Develop and implement individual treatment plans, specifying the type, frequency, intensity, and duration of therapy.
Evaluate the effectiveness of counseling or treatments, and the accuracy and completeness of diagnoses, modify plans and diagnoses as necessary.
Interact with clients to assist them in gaining insight, defining goals, and planning action to achieve effective personal, social, educational, and vocational development and adjustment.
Observe individuals at play, in group interactions, or in other contexts to detect indications of mental deficiency, abnormal behavior, or maladjustment.
Obtain and study medical, psychological, social, and family histories, by interviewing individuals, couples, or families, and by reviewing records.
Select, administer, score, and interpret psychological tests in order to obtain information on individuals intelligence, achievements, interests, and personalities.
Utilize a variety of treatment methods such as psychotherapy, behavior support plan (BSP), stress reduction therapy, etc.
Maintain current knowledge of relevant research.
Refer clients to other specialists, or support services as necessary.
Write reports on clients, and maintain required paperwork per policies and procedures.
Direct, coordinate, and evaluate activities of psychology interns engaged in patient assessment and treatment.
