(Physician/MD qualifications required) Traumatic Surgery – Medicus Healthcare Solutions is partnering with facilities in western and east-central Florida, seeking Trauma Surgeons to assist their teams.

Candidates must be Board Certified in General Surgery & Surgical Critical Care (ACS or Trauma) and have a FL license.

Opportunity Details:

– Ongoing coverage
– Schedule: 12-hr primary in-house coverage, plus 12-hr offsite secondary call
– Call shifts: 24|7 on-call neurosurgeons, 24|7 on-site anesthesia, surgical services team, & trauma trained nurses
– Trauma Admits: Penetrating: 9%; Blunt: 89.5%
– Program structure: Surgery, Surgical Critical Care, & Trauma
– Procedures: running traumas, emergency general surgery, rounding in the ICU
– Must have 2 years recent trauma| Acute Care Surgery experience
