Applicants must be a DVM or VMD, licensed to work in the United States and Arizona.
Applicants would be working as a veterinarian within a full-service pet store including: grooming, boarding and pet retail. The hospitals have both full-service day practice as well as emergency clinics. Positions within both areas are available. Day practice Applicants will be seeing appointments, performing dentals and surgeries, analyzing lab data and communicating with clients. Emergency clinicians will focus on monitoring hospitalized patients and seeing emergency patients.
Duties to include:
Busy, fast paced, flexible, team oriented, startup culture with many policies still being developed which gives applicants a say in how things are run. Applicants will be seeing clients, diagnosing medical conditions, communicating with clients. Diagnostics in house include: digital radiology, dental radiology, in house blood machines, anesthesia equipment and monitoring devices, ultrasound.
Office hours and days candidate will work:
General practice in 8am 6pm, Monday to Saturday. Most veterinarians for us choose to work 4 10-hour shifts.
Emergency practitioners 6pm to 8am, 7 days per week. Most emergency practitioners work 3 12 to 14-hour shifts
Salary (range):
General Practice: $100,000 to $150,000 base compensation
Emergency Veterinarians $120,000 to $175,000
Vacation: 3 weeks PTO
