What You’ll Do: Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments to determine appropriate anesthesia plans. Administer various anesthesia techniques, including general, regional, and sedation, tailored to each patient’s needs. Monitor patients closely throughout surgical procedures, ensuring their safety and well-being. Provide post-operative pain management as needed. Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in the Athena and Meditech electronic medical record systems. Who You Are: Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with a current and active license to practice in Alabama (AL only). Strong clinical skills and experience in administering anesthesia for a variety of inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues. Proficient in sterile technique and anesthesia safety protocols. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Comfort and expertise in administering epidural anesthesia.
