Locum Tenens CRNA Needed ASAP – Ongoing (Near Prosser, WA) (j-233258) Are you a board-certified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) seeking a rewarding locum tenens opportunity in a collaborative healthcare setting near Prosser, Washington? Diverse Caseload: Expand your clinical experience by providing anesthesia for ENT, general surgery, GI endoscopy, gynecology, podiatry, orthopedics, healthy pediatric cases, robotic procedures, urology, and vascular surgery (excluding CT and Neuro cases). Predictable Schedule: Enjoy a set schedule with no call requirements, allowing you to achieve a healthy work-life balance while ensuring continuous anesthesia support for scheduled surgeries. Advanced Technology: Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system to ensure efficient documentation and communication. What You’ll Do: Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments for adult and pediatric patients, collaborating with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized anesthesia plans. Administer a variety of anesthesia techniques, including general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC), to ensure patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures. Monitor vital signs, manage pain, and respond to intraoperative emergencies to maintain patient well-being throughout the surgical process. Provide post-anesthetic care and recovery support, ensuring a smooth transition for patients following surgery. Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other surgical team members to promote patient safety and a positive surgical experience. Document all patient interactions, assessments, anesthesia care plans, and interventions thoroughly and efficiently within the EPIC electronic medical records system. Who You Are: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with a specialization in Nurse Anesthesia (required). Current and active license to practice in Washington (only). National Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) (required). Current ACLS certification (required).
